At Wynne Water Utilities, our goal is to provide safe, quality drinking water and maintain quality service for our community!
Wynne Water Utilities is the City of Wynne-owned utility that operates and maintains the water and wastewater systems within the city. The daily business of running the operation is assigned to the general manager of the utility.
Since 1943, a separate water and sewer commission board, made up of five (5) commissioners, has been responsible for the operation of the utility. When individual term limits are met, commissioners are appointed by the commission board and then confirmed by the city council. According to state statutes, term limits are set at eight (8) years.
